I'm Andy, an active member of the Columbia County Sheriff's Office Search and Rescue team in Oregon, and a General class amateur radio operator (callsign KK7TRG). I also hold an associate degree in diesel technology, so between SAR callouts, ham radio, and turning wrenches, practical, field-tested know-how is what I know best.
Every guide in this store comes out of that same place: things I've actually used, refined through real trainings and real searches, not repackaged from someone else's book. When you're standing in the field with a radio in your hand, you want a reference that was written by someone who's been there too — that's what I'm building here.
