Coming Soon — Rapid Relay Pack
Coming soon — hand-built to order in St. Helens, Oregon.
Why this exists: During a real SAR overnighter training exercise at Camp Wilkerson, Columbia County, Oregon, our base station reached every field team clearly — but base couldn't hear the field teams' handhelds coming back through the hilly, heavily forested terrain. That specific, observed gap is what the Rapid Relay Pack was built to close: more transmit power than a stock 5W handheld, in a package a field team can actually carry.
The Rapid Relay Pack is a self-contained radio relay — a 25W mobile-class radio, a dedicated battery, and a low-power mesh fallback, all packed into a single MOLLE pouch you can mount and forget about until it matters.
What's inside:
- AnyTone AT-779UV, 25W GMRS/UHF mobile radio — more transmit power than a standard 5W handheld, in a footprint that still fits in a field pouch
- Bioenno 12V 4.5Ah LiFePO4 battery, dedicated to the radio so it's never competing for power with anything else on your belt
- Heltec Mesh Node T114 — a low-power LoRa mesh and GPS fallback layer, for when voice traffic alone isn't enough
- Jungle Hub antenna with a 35-40ft LMR-195 feedline (PL-259 to BNC), carried in its own separate pouch so it never has to fight the radio and battery for space
- ACU digital camo MOLLE housing, zippered, with front webbing for direct mounting to a pack or vest
Each Rapid Relay Pack is hand-built and bench-tested individually — not mass-produced — so it's built to order rather than pulled off a shelf. Anticipated price: $699. Reach out to reserve one or ask questions before it opens for orders.
SAR / First Responder team pricing: 3 Rapid Relay Packs for $1,500 (a $597 savings off list) — built for teams equipping multiple members at once.
